Our approach
At the career event, several women who have already built successful careers in the trades came to share their hard-earned knowledge and advice with the newcomers. Tasked with creating a video, we took a unique approach to story-telling. Instead of focusing our video on one of the event attendees, we highlighted one of the volunteers.
We wanted to tell a hero-story for young women to aspire towards. Our heroine had overcome immense challenges, built a successful career, and is now stepping up to mentor younger women. We structured our shoot, our approach, and our editing to tell, in a short 30-sec window, her full-circle story of female empowerment.
